Tips for planning a party
We can help you create... The perfect party!!
  • Plan WELL in advance - Advance planning will solve 75% of potential problems that occur. On any given weekend, private event entertainment will book up to a year in advance.
  • Check References - Quality companies will have many references documenting their abilities.
  • Set Goal & Stick to a Budget - When you set up specific expectations about your event, you can lay out a more appropriate budget. When you set that budget, stick to it. It is very easy to go overboard.
  • Entertainment will be remembered! - An equal amount of funds should be established for the production side of an event as the amount for food, beverages, and services. In some occasions, entertainment will have to be even more.
  • Try to relax your guests - Parties and social events naturally make people tense. Try to plan activities that will help loosen up your guests.
  • Assumption is the mother of all screw-ups - Get things in writing and double check everything!
  • Be creative & unique - Why do the same things as everyone else? It gets boring. Utilize the professionals that you are hiring. They can help you create an affair that will be memorable for you and your guests.
  • Impress - Special effects will bring more to your party than you could imagine. Lighting, video screens, lighted dance floors, favors, and party props are all incredible additions to any event.

It depends on a number of factors including the date of your event, time, and number of hours, but the rates for entertainment alone could range from $500-$5000 for a typical four hour affair.

"What is the deposit to hold the date? When is the balance due?"
Generally, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required upon signing a contract. If the total of services exceeds $1000, a $500 deposit is required.  If the contract is over $5000, a $1000 deposit is required.

We accept personal checks up to two weeks prior to the event date, but if you care to settle the remaining tab on the date of your social gathering, we accept company checks, certified checks, cash, and money orders upon arrival at the location. Overtime may be paid upon completion of your event in cash or company check.

"Can we reserve a specific MC for our party?"
You can leave the decision up to us or choose one person that you like from a list of experienced M.C.'s, assuming they are available at the time of your booking.

"Can we give you songs to play at our party?"
Absolutely. We recommend a list of songs you want and those that you DON'T want as well. Keep in mind that the list should be no more than twenty individual songs that you want, and highlight the top five that you can't live without hearing.

"Are there any additional charges that will be sprung on us at the last minute?"
No way!! We disclose all fees at the time of the initial phone call.

"Can we meet with you or see you live?"
We meet with clients now on an appointment basis: Days on Monday through Friday and Evenings Monday through Thursday. If you want to see us live after that, we will give you a few dates on where we will be playing.

"What kind of music do you play?"
All of our sound systems come equipped with no fewer than 85,000 song titles on touch screen computer systems. The types range from Big Band, Bubble Gum, and Easy Listening to Present Rock, Rap, Pop, and Dance. The areas in between include Classic Rock, Disco, Jazz, and Eighties lost 45's. For award ceremonies we use Pop titles, Instrumentals, and Classical music. Because we generally don't send out song lists to bind you, we use our extensive 85,000-song title master library and various DJ contacts to find the songs that you want for your celebration.
